Nan went to Christchurch Girls’ High in Christchurch, staying at Acland House (the boarding house). I am guessing this was on the menu for a reunion event they had. Nan would have been about 86 years old at this stage.

As to the method - just mix the roll ingredients together, and make the rolls… the sandwiches seem pretty self-explanatory.
