Delicious Cake (from Janet)

  • 113 grams butter

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 and 3/4 cups flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Method

Janet’s given us a bit more of a method this time but I’ve still added some interpretation. I hope it works!

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Slowly incorporate flour, continuing to mix.

Dissolve baking soda in milk, and add with cream of tartar.

Pour into a greased and lined cake tin.

Bake at 190°C for about 1 hour.
