Pastry
1 and 1/2 cups flour
85 grams butter
sprinkle sugar (for sweet pastry) or salt (for savoury)
1 teaspoon vinegar (I’d use white)
1/3 cup milk
Method
Rub butter into sifted flour.
Mix vinegar into milk and add slowly to dry ingredients, using a knife to mix to a very stiff dough.
Add more milk as needed.
You could use this as a pie or quiche pastry in a pie dish, or even to make little handheld pies.
